Semester 1 Spring 2020
Growbot:
This semester, I worked with Joaquin to refine the tire tank drive system. We assembled the wheels and sprockets and attached the drive chain. I designed a chain tensioner to help properly tension the chain to reduce the chance of slippage. Additionally, the tensioner brought the chain up further on the frame to give the GrowBot more ground clearance and reduce the chain contamination. I developed test to validate the performance and functionality of the GrowBot for the final assembly and during revision stages as well. The test matrix has all of the tests created thus far for the GrowBot and the testing procedures document breaks down each test into more detail for testing.
