Books about the aid industry[edit source]
A well-known book on the problems of aid is Lords of Poverty by Graham HancockW - i haven't read it but have had it recommended to me. However on seeing the Wikipedia article about the author, he doesn't seem like the most rigorous, scientific writer, so other sources would be better.
However, this review was very useful, and gave 2 sides, so I added it: Customer Review of The Lords of Poverty: The Power, Prestige, and Corruption of the International Aid Business by Graham Hancock - review by Sithara Batcha, May 29, 2006, Amazon.com
