Categorizing solutions[edit source]
I started to define different scales: individuals, families, neighborhoods, villages, communities, cities, etc. But I see lots of potential cross over of the same or nearly the same technologies applied at different scale.
I wonder if it makes more sense to identify each solution, and then add key terms for each to represent the scales at which each one might be applied. That probably makes more sense.
- ALSO, differentiate each suite of solutions in multiple dimensions: by scale? by "surface" (rough ground, gravel, pavement, rail)? by media (land, water, air)? by "fuel/power" type (e.g. human, electric, solar-electric, gas, liquid, etc.)
- Where can we find a ready-to-go set of categories for transportation solutions, perhaps with icons to show which solutioins go with which problems? TomStanton (talk) 15:45, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
