Name and scope[edit source]
I see why Humanure was moved here, but I actually think it deserves its own article. Human waste has its own issues in disease control, handling challenges, and the sheer size of the resource.
Feces is more of a medical term. In the context of making use of it (in agriculture, as fuel or in building material) manure or dung is a more usual term. --Chriswaterguy 17:12, 10 January 2013 (PST)
Disputed phraseology[edit source]
I dispute this phrase: Do not separate urine and feces, as the urine provides moisture the microorganisms need. I don't think that is true at all. There are very good reasons to source separate faeces from urine and I've not seen any evidence that moisture levels in separated sludge is having an adverse impact on the quality composting.
