Do you think the topic is intrinsically unsuitable, or is it just a quality issue? --Chriswaterguy 06:32, 17 April 2013 (PDT)
low quality editting, broken links, no cats. I also have a feeling the whole subject might be an urban myth - see this from Popular Mechanics Joeturner 06:35, 17 April 2013 (PDT)
I'm far from an expert on these things, but this quote from the article expresses the first thought that popped into my head when I saw this page:
"Companies manufacturing air vehicles usually fail to consider that the energy needed to compress the air into their tanks comes from the electrical grid... emissions come from the power plant instead of the tailpipes."
Of course the same thing can be said for electric vehicles, but that hasn't stopped them from being deployed on a large scale. I also suspect that like other alternative fuels, such as corn ethanol, it probably has a negative net energy. At this point I'd say it's worth reworking this article to point out that this concept doesn't show a good potential at this point. --Ethan (talk) 19:14, 31 October 2015 (PDT)
Agreed re skepticism and value of keeping it, and with reworking to be more realistic.
So I've removed the deletion tag and added a section: Efficiency and environmental impact. --Chriswaterguy (talk) 13:58, 27 November 2015 (PST)
