Would "Lighting" be a more natural category name? There's likely to be a very small number of articles on non-electric lights, such as the {{WP|Safe bottle lamp}} - and creating an extra layer of category (Lighting and Electric lighting) seems a little unnecessary. That's my leaning - not a critical issue though. --[[User:Chriswaterguy|Chriswaterguy]] · [[User talk:Chriswaterguy|talk]] 10:14, 1 October 2007 (PDT)

:I think that {{Tlc|Lighting}} is definitely a better approach. Then, if the category becomes to full, we can further subcategorize with types of lighting. Let me know if you would rather I do this. Otherwise make sure to change the categorization of those pages previously categorized under Electric lighting.

"Lighting"?

Would "Lighting" be a more natural category name? There's likely to be a very small number of articles on non-electric lights, such as the W - and creating an extra layer of category (Lighting and Electric lighting) seems a little unnecessary. That's my leaning - not a critical issue though. --Chriswaterguy · talk 10:14, 1 October 2007 (PDT)

I think that Template:Tlc is definitely a better approach. Then, if the category becomes to full, we can further subcategorize with types of lighting. Let me know if you would rather I do this. Otherwise make sure to change the categorization of those pages previously categorized under Electric lighting.
