Purpose of category?
I'm not sure about the purpose of this category. I find it actually makes it harder to navigate, e.g. I was looking for intentional communities in "communities" and didn't realize it was in this subcat.
So I propose deleting this cat and moving these to community:
- Cities
- Community organizing
- Intentional communities
- Communes • Ecovillages
- Decision making techniques
- Pugh diagrams • Delphi method
- Decision making structures
- Consensus • Democratic • Hand clasp
- Majority rule • Minority rule • Unanimity
The following may not belong in community at all, but could be placed in other categories (and linked from "See also" sections as appropriate) (I've tried to group by similar idea... but have to run an urgent errand now so pardon the mess!):
- Economics
- Finance Accounting • Microfinance • Sustainable accounting • Triple bottom line
- Commerce • Poverty
- Justice
- Corruption • Rule of law
- Activism
- Effective lobbying
- Gender and development
- Multiculturalism

- Further to the above comment - i.e. Category:Culture and development captures some of the issues (Gender and development, Multiculturalism and probably Corruption) though Category:Culture might be a better name. --Chriswaterguy · talk 16:46, 10 March 2007 (PST)
