"Volunteering" rather than "internships"

This page was previously at A:Internships and the volunteering page just said:

"Our volunteer arrangements are basically the same as our unpaid internships, but more flexible. We can work out the details according to your skills and interests."

This was discussed at an Appropedia Foundation board meeting, and we agreed that "volunteer" was a better general term than "intern". We can still have "interns" from universities or other orgs/institutions (and in some cases they will have a supervisor at the other institution). But that won't be a separate program - it will just be a volunteer position, adjusted as needed to meet requirements.

Whether volunteer or intern, we will still put care into making an experience that meets the needs of both Appropedia's vision and mission, and the participant sharing their labors with us. --Chriswaterguy 11:36, 24 April 2013 (PDT)
