Charlie Pereda, a dedicated Environmental Resource Engineering student at Cal Poly Humboldt, is on track to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in environmental resource engineering. His commitment to education and community improvement shines through his involvement in various extracurricular activities. Charlie has taken on leadership roles in clubs like Druids and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, where he actively contributes to the mission of these organizations.
One notable achievement in Charlie's academic journey was his participation in a collegiate competition focused on water quality filtration systems. His team secured an impressive 3rd place, showcasing his engineering prowess and dedication to environmental solutions.
Recently, Charlie has embarked on a new venture by founding a business named Lucid Dreamers. This innovative endeavor aims to address the pressing issue of limited access to financial literacy, covering topics like cryptocurrency, stock market investments, real estate, and financial institutions. Looking ahead, Charlie's aspirations include making a positive impact on low-income communities by integrating renewable energy and appropriate technology. His dedication to educating others in financial literacy exemplifies his commitment to creating a better, more sustainable future for all
