Shannon O'Leary
Born and Raised in the valley, East of San Francisco and made my home in the grand basin of Lake Tahoe. My passions flow around nature through backpacking, snowboarding/snow shoeing, organic farming, and plunging in as many bodies of water that I can find. I am a current student at Sierra Nevada College, studying towards two majors for Sustainability and Fine Arts- I am madly devoted to the Earth and her conservation. Preparing myself and humanity to eliminate fossil fuel dependency and create concurrency with the natural systematic ways of this beautiful planet. Harmony of the self, community, and planet between all organisms is my ultimate goal. Wish me luck, but we're in this together!

"IF NATURE IS NOT A PRISON ON EARTHS SHODDY WAY-STATION, WE MUST FIND THE FAITH AND FORCE TO AFFIRM ITS METABOLISM AS OUR OWN-OR RATHER OUR OWN AS A PART OF IT: TO DO SO MEANS NOTHING LESS THAN A SHIFT IN OUR WHOLE FRAME OF REFERENCE AND OUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS LIFE ITSELF, A WIDER PERCEPTION OF THE LANDSCAPE AS A CREATIVE, HARMONIOUS BEING WHERE RELATIONSHIPS OF THINGS ARE AS REAL AS THE THINGS." PAUL SHEPARD
"ANY INTELLIGENT FOOL CAN MAKE THINGS BIGGER AND MORE COMPLEX... IT TAKES A TOUCH OF GENIUS - AND A LOT OF COURAGE TO MOVE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION." ALBERT EINSTEIN
