Bio
I have a passion for providing value to communities through sustainable development that focuses on increased food security, access to economic opportunities and improving the livelihoods of people. I am particularly interested in resource management with regards to the food production system by using appropriate technologies and locally abundant or easily replicated materials.
I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) having served more than two years in Armenia as a Master's International Volunteer where I worked on sustainable agriculture projects ranging from producing organic fertilizers through vermiculture techniques to reintroduction of native trout to river systems to passive solar greenhouses that allow for year round production in cold climates.
