Summary[edit | edit source]
I am a hard-working and capable software engineering student at Penn State University with a strong desire to pursue undergraduate research. I have a strong academic background, as shown by the fact that I made the Dean's List in my first semester, and 1 year of C++ programming experience (currently learning Python). Last summer, I was able to complete a software engineering internship, during which I received valuable one-on-one mentoring from Daniel Vijayakumar (Senior Software Engineer) and developed a multi-platform user-interface for a productivity app called vicit-diem, exceeding the expectations of my mentor by completing my assigned project 2 weeks ahead of schedule. In my spare time, I also co-lead and teach the children's Sunday school class at Westmount Bible Chapel and am volunteering to help organize a Christmas program for several long-term care homes in the Peterborough area.
