Fall 2019: Industrial Recyclebot V2 (Link)[edit | edit source]
During this semester the Recyclebot team has been preparing to build the next iteration of Recyclebot. This has entailed lots of planning and research on the electrical side. Some ways I have helped my team out include assisting with teardown, cleaning, and maintenance of existing components; beginning analysis of old code to see what can be reused; conducting feasibility study on old version's AC induction motor to determine whether it would suit our new demands for control; and contributing to the final draft of our EMI proposal.
