An onboarding flow for new editors from partner organization to use a wiki service:

  • Introduction of specialist and editor over email
  • Request for organizational materials: text description of their organization to make a profile page on the wiki and branding materials
  • Specialist will develop a first draft of templates and page structure
  • Facilitating session for editor to make an account and go over basic activities on the wiki
  • Provide editors with help materials for them and their team
  • Receive feedback about missing materials

    • Introduction email
    • Information package to project leads: Appropedia help materials and licensing information, examples of end goals, what does a good page look like, Q&A
    • Request for organizational data: organization names, logos, color and branding
    • Create organization pages
  • Week 2
    • Onboarding call to create content structure for the portal (syllabus or top-level content pages)
    • Create project's landing page
    • Define a naming convention for pages
    • Define page type requirements
  • Week 3
    • Create relevant templates on Appropedia
    • Create page preloads
    • Portal branding and pages showcase
    • Project dashboard and checklist
  • Week 4 - Onwards
    • Weekly follow-up support calls
  • Every two months
    • Content assessment report
