A qualified primary school teacher, specialising in supporting bilingual children, I have worked in urban and rural schools in Tanzania, America and the UK.
I branched out into family learning and community engagement projects, most recently at the Eden Project. I ran a programme called Seeds, Soup and Sarnies, which got local people to grow their own food.
I am interested in connecting people to food and connecting people through food.
For my Appropedia internship in 2011, I will be researching local food projects in Sydney and around Australia. All suggestions are welcome!
