Wind Turbines
Guggenheim in Bilbao

This course was taught as part of the Spanish, Business and Renewable Energy Program at the University of Pais Vasco, Bilbao, Spain with Lonny Grafman. This program offers courses in Engineering, Spanish and Business on beautiful northern coast of the Spanish Basque Country. The renewable energy and business classes are taught in English and students are provided with conversational partners while they learn Spanish (if they are taking Spanish classes, which are not mandatory). During November 2009, Spain reached an impressive new record by meeting 45% of its electrical power demand from wind energy. This will be just one of the important renewable energy technologies we will examine.
