Deep Water Culture (DWC) rafts of the educational aquaponics system at Adrian College in the greenhouse at Peele Hall. The raft beds are made from re-purposed 55gal (200L) barrels, linked in series using PVC piping. The roots from the plants float freely in the nutrient rich water and receive oxygen from the aerator in the bed.
