Here is a set of dimensioned shop drawings for fabricating the Oregon Kiln - a simple bin kiln for making biochar. The kiln includes a drain hole and plug for draining the quench water.

Fabrication Details[edit | edit source]
- Cut 5’ x 8’ sheet as shown and bend. Then weld on side panels for kiln body.
- Or cut panels separately and weld together.
- Drain hole and handle details shown in photograph.
