A local savings group in Rosario grows and distributes bean seeds as part of their group's agenda. Carlos Salgada, 24, son of the owner of the property, plus the field while farmer, Juan Ramon Palacio, 50 who works with the group, sow the seeds.
Rosario de Abojo village near La Trinidad town in Nicaragua. There are several farming projects under A4N (Agriculture for Basic Needs), supported by the Howard G. Buffett Foundation and CRS. The local partner is FIDER, The Rural Research and Development Foundation. This particular project deals with seed collection, planting, and distribution.
